The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) have consented to share information on import and fare focus for investigation on the commitments of the Free Trade Zone Scheme to the public economy.

The two offices have set up a specialized panel to drive the interaction trusting the coordinated effort will guarantee a legitimate dynamic. The cooperation arrived yesterday when the NEPZA Managing Director, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, paid a kindness visit to the Statistician-General, Dr. Yemi Kale, in Abuja.

Adesugba clarified that the association was pointed toward helping to characterize both the import and fare information focuses for examination. Kale said the authority was set up to screen records of the profitable area, adding that any proposition pointed toward accomplishing that would be valued.
