Fish ranchers praise Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's development as WTO head

The National Fish Association of Nigeria (NFAN) has saluted Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala over her rise as the Director-General, World Trade Organization (WTO).
Boss Chidike Ukoh, National Publicity Secretary of the Association, said this in an assertion on Monday in Abuja.
Ukoh said that the affiliation was thrilled by the information and joined many others around the globe to invite Okonjo-Iweala as the new head of WTO.
"We have a long list of motivations to lead this August festival since we know from home the inestimable gem Nigeria is offering the world.
"A restrained and judicious worldwide resident as Dr. Okonjo-Iweala is known to have practically everything necessary to be in that position in front of others,'' he said.
Ukoh praised President Muhammadu Buhari for his help towards her development.
"Significantly more admirable is the undeniable level discretionary moves by Mr. President who excited African pioneers' help to clear route for a definitive triumph.
"We are expecting to see an astounding turnaround in the primary make-up, strategies, and projects of the WTO as she accepts obligation,'' he added.
Ukoh said NFAN would, through expanded promotion, sensitization, preparing, and retraining of ranchers and industry administrators, induce the required fast development and improvement of the non-oil economy.
Okonjo-Iweala was named the new Director-General of the WTO on Feb. 15, which made her be the main lady and African to head the association.
She arose as the post leader in 2020 and likewise got a lift after South Korean Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee pulled out from the race.
