#BLM Activist Oluwatoyin Salau: Dead A Week After Reporting Abuse

Nineteen year old Black Lives Matter activist, Oluwatoyin Salau was one of two bodies in a homocide investigation in Tallahasse, Florida. 

Salau’s body was discovered by police Saturday night, along with the body of 75-year-old Victoria Sims, according to a statement.

49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. was taken into custody, but charges against him are unclear; Glee lives on the road near where the bodies were found.

Their deaths come amid numerous recent high-profile killings of Black people, including George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and the massive global protests sparked in their wake. ( Taylor, was shot eight times by police while asleep in her bed, at home).

In the hours before she went missing, Salau had tweeted about being sexually assaulted by a man who gave her a ride and shelter in his home.
