tradeNAIRA Pay · Study abroad hub

Getting the admission was the hard part. Paying for it shouldn’t be.

Acceptance deposits. Tuition instalments. Accommodation. Application and courier fees. Hundreds of thousands of Nigerians make these payments every year — into transfer limits, slow bank queues and declined cards, while an offer letter sits on a deadline. Tell us what’s due and we’ll settle it in naira, with confirmation your university can trace to your name.

Why these payments hurt most

Offer letters expire. Bursars need references. Banks need weeks.

Study-abroad payments combine the three hardest problems on this site: hard deadlines, amounts beyond card territory, and a receiving side that must be able to trace the money to you.

Pain 01

Deposits hold seats — until they don’t

An acceptance deposit deadline is a seat deadline: miss it and the offer can lapse to the waitlist. These are the most unforgiving dates in the whole journey, and they land exactly when families are juggling every other fee at once.

Pain 02

Tuition-scale money isn’t card money

A $2,500 deposit or a $7,000 instalment is beyond most Nigerian cards’ online limits entirely — this is transfer territory, where the official bank route is document-heavy and slow, and the clock doesn’t pause for the paperwork.

Pain 03

Untraceable money is unpaid money

Universities credit payments by student ID and reference number. A transfer that arrives without the right reference sits in bursar limbo for weeks — technically paid, officially missing, while late fees and registration holds pile up.

How we handle it: every payment goes out with your student ID and reference attached, and you get the confirmation forwarded on WhatsApp — the bursar sees money from you, not from a stranger. Deposits and instalments are funded ahead of the deadline, never on it. And a piece of honest advice we’ll repeat in the chat: when the official bank route (Form A) works within your timeline, it can be the cheaper path — and we’ll tell you so rather than take the payment. We’re for when the clock, the limits or the paperwork beat the official queue. Test, SEVIS and visa fees live on our Visas service.
Protect the admission

The smart moves — and the trap that ends journeys

✓ Do

Pay early, reference everything, batch the semester

Settle deposits days before the offer deadline — a payment problem with a week of runway is fixable; on deadline day it’s a lost seat. Put the student ID and payment reference on every transfer, and keep every confirmation: it’s your proof at registration and your evidence if the bursar misplaces anything.

If you can see the whole semester coming — deposit, tuition, residence, insurance — tell us once and we’ll plan the payments as a sequence, so each one is funded before its own clock runs out.

✕ Don’t

Never borrow or “rent” proof-of-funds

Proof-of-funds must be your own money with a clean paper trail. Borrowed lump sums parked in an account for a statement, or “PoF packages” sold by agents, are misrepresentation — and immigration authorities treat it as exactly that, with refusals and multi-year bans that end the journey the admission started. We help move your own funds properly (like a Canada GIC purchase); we will never help stage funds that aren’t yours.

And pay tuition only to the university’s official account — never to an “agent’s” personal account, no matter the discount promised. If the account name isn’t the institution, the money isn’t going to the institution.

Reserve your spot

Tell us the deadline. Keep the seat.

Fill this in and we’ll open WhatsApp with your details ready to send — your payments, your amounts, your stage. One tap and the conversation starts. Anyone with a deposit or tuition deadline inside 7 days jumps straight to the front of the queue.

✓Quote first, always. Every payment — especially the big ones — quoted individually on WhatsApp before any money moves.
✓Traceable to you. Student ID and reference on every payment, official confirmation forwarded when it lands.
✓Honest routing. If the official bank route is the better deal for your timeline, we’ll say so instead of taking the job.
